Alasia Piemonte Cortese 2018     V V                                                                            7.25
A highly versatile wine - made entirely from Cortese, the same grape used in Gavi.   Aromas of ripe red apples
with notes of  citrus and honeysuckle. The palate is lightly honeyed, yet crisp and refreshing with citrus and green apple flavours and characteristic  almond notes,

Sea Change’ is a range of ethically sourced, environmentally conscious wines that support ocean conservation through direct partnerships with key ocean and marine focused charities. The bottles do not have cork caps and the savings from this are donated

Fontanino Riesling 2017  (Piedmont)                                                                     10.00
A fine, delicate dry  Riesling produced from grapes grown high in the cooler mountains of Piedmont to
ensure freshness and vitality. Classic Riesling aromas of lime and a touch of lemongrass. The palate has citrus and stone fruit characters, with mineral notes adding complexity to the finish. Great with fish, chicken, crisp salads, or ork.

Alpha Zeta Soave 2018 (Verona)   V                                                                                        9.50
The Alpha Zeta winery perfectly melds the modern wine making techniques of New Zealander  Matt Thompson
with the ancient, classic grape varieties of Verona. Bright, fresh, dry white with delicate almond blossom and citrus aromas
and soft flavours of apples and pears. Makes a perfect aperitif and goes beautifully with light salads and simple fish dishes.
A great alternative to Sauvignon Blanc. TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK

the palate overflows with exhuberance. Fresh, lively, vibrant and positively gushing with a whole melange

Zensa Fiano 2018 (Puglia)   Organic                                                                                       12.50
This amazing wine is produced from  Fiano grapes  selected from low-yielding, fully organic vineyards in the Salento area
of Southern Puglia. The wine is straw yellow in color, with an elegant floral aroma of mango, peaches and sage. The palate is
full-bodied,  crisp and refreshing and overflowing with tropical notes and exotic fruit. The finish is incredibly well balanced, long and persistent. Great with any type of fish or chicken dish.
I could throw a bucket load of adjectives at this wine, but one word sums it up "Zensational"

Gavi di Gavi "Conte di Alari" 2017                                                                                                    13.50

Picture
Made from Cortese grapes by Villa Sparina who have been producing great wines going back
to their origins in the 18th century. Delicate fragrance of flowers and fruit.  Full and rich, soft
and harmonious, with hints of peaches and a touch of minerality which likens it to Chablis..
