Primordial Soup Red  2018     V V                                                              7.25
An exciting blend of indigenous  grape varieties redolent of the primordial soup from which evolved
life as we know it.  This cultured concoction is a veritable bouillbasse of rich, bold fruit packed with juicy life.
It has a nose of creamy summer pudding and a palate of crushed berries with a cranberry tang and texture.   It's the Natural Selection!!!!  A fantastic match to a huge variety of dishes from steak and chips, bangers and mash, juicy pink sunday roast, to beef stirfry ......and it is great just on its own!!

Wild House Shiraz                                                                                                                 7.50
50% of the hand harvested grapes were fermented in stainless steel whilst the remainder were fermented in oak barrels.
The result is a deep ruby wine with a nose of summer pudding. The palate is full  with suggestions of dark chocolate and
star anise. All this makes for a hugely positive expression of the Coastal Region Shiraz.  Foodwise this is a really versatile
wine that works well with most meats, mushrooms dishes  but great to just quaff on its own.
Reduced from £8.75.   COMING SOON

The warm sunny days and cooling sea breezes of the Western Cape encourage the grapes to
ripen to full maturation, resulting in a rich, rounded, easy-drinking Merlot packed with brambly fruits,
gentle tannins and a touch of spice.  Went down a bomb at our Summer Tasting.
A good partner to meaty pasta dishes, spicy dausages and grilled impala steaks

Wild yeast fermentation, low yields and ageing in large French oak foudre are what defines this savoury and appealing Syrah.

Lovely fruit-driven wine from this massively under-rated grape variety. Wild yeast fermentation, low yielding bush vines
and ageing in  French oak  produce this this richly-fruited, savoury satisfying Pinotage. Plummy aromas with a faint hit of
barbecued meat. The palate is full and rich with an impressively long finish.
Perfect with pork belly dishes or barbecued meats,  game or good, old fashioned sausage and mash.

Gorgeous Cinsault from South Africa's Coastal region where the cool Atlantic breezes help produce lighter, fresher               wines. In this harsh, arid region the roots of the 35 year old bush-vines have to did deep through  the Earth's mantle          foraging for sustenance.

Bewitching , beguiling , beautiful wine from the immensely talented Donovan Rall.  Donovan hand picks
the fruit by night which is then bundled into a chilled grocery fruit lorry and delivered to Zorgvliet winery
